Feeling usless
I have been applying to many engineering internships and have been getting rejected by everything. It’s left me feeling like I’ve failed in a way. As if I will never be a productive member of society bc I’ve failed in some way. And it’s just left me feeling like I’ve wasted my time and life.
Hi there, I can really relate. I dont know something about interviews does have me unedge, and the field I want to get in, I dont have the experiences, only education. Sometimes when I am looking at job applications, I get turned off, because I remember my past failures, but I dont want to focus on the bad here.....lol.
Now you are doing a field that is quite vast. Does your university offer such programs if you are still going to school?
Hi, I know how you feel. I got my PhD in Physics. After graduating, I got a couple of non-tenure track positions. No one renewed my contracts. I ended up in the hospital while I was teaching and professors don’t normally prepare for sick days. I finally had to quit working. I went on disability. I’m sad for the lost career but now I’m working on charities. So long story long, we all need radical acceptance no matter what. I wish you luck!
