Hi! I guess i should introduce myself lol
Hello :) My name is Victoria, I'm. a teen listener, and I'm relatively new here (a week). I'm glad to find out about 7 cups and be a listener, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. It's also nice to spend my extra time in the holidays for this, as it gives me some sense of purpose (though I'll definitely continue doing this when school starts).
I hope to help others feel heard, get verified, join the internship/academy/training programs, and all in all just learn, experience, and grow along the way.
About me i guess (?): I enjoy listening to Taylor Swift, read literature (fiction, science dystopia, romance, classics; 1984 and Pride and Prejudice are my babies), webtoons, and mangas (psychological thrillers; blood on the tracks is so good srsly), crochet, learn psychology, biology (cancer, dementia, immunology, etc), and more!
I hope to write more (non-fiction;essays), dedicate myself to procrastinate/waste my time less to learn more, spend more time on self-care, and socialize more. I hope 2024 goes well for me, and all of you (hopefully) 😆

I also love psychological horror, i hunt killers and the author natasha preston are my favorites aha. Also finally someone who loves classic literature!! People keep saying to read pride and prejudice, i probably will! I just read the color purple not to long ago and holy cow, it was amazing!!! I also love psychology and biology! I want to be a trauma surgeon one day! My favorite fields of biology have to be embryology and evolution. It just amazes me. I also love psychology! I love learning about biology as well, and in a health sciences major, I've taken courses on cancer, immunology, physiology, and much more. Doing some pretty cool research with machine learning as well, but can't divulge that a lot of details ;). Here are some links you may find helpful
- Mentors can be really helpful when you're new here! They can help you find your footing and answer any listener questions that you may have.
- Coaches can help with more specific Listener issues on a more short term basis. They can help with things like active listening skills etc.
- Listener Learning Threads can be super helpful in learning more about specific things to do with our listener journey
