Need to talk to someone as soon as possible
Hi everyone.
I am in need of talking to someone that as expertise in either computers or law.
Don't worry, I don't need advice or anything, just irrational mindedness leading to horrendous anxiety etc.
Would appreciate anyone that can do that for me or ask someone on here that will.
Thanks in advance.
@BoLo The quickest way to talk to someone here is to click on Connect Now. The maximum wait at the moment is 3 minutes.
If you don't need advice, then I'm not sure why you need to find someone with expertise. You should be able to talk to any listener at all about your horrendous anxiety, no matter what the reasons for it are.
Alternatively, you could explain the issue some more here in the forum, where it's possible more than one person might reply.

I appreciate the reply, but I've found most "connect now" listeners either immature or less than helpful.
I would explain to you why I need expertise, but I'd rather not go over the details.
@BoLo Oh, you want to avoid inexperienced listeners? Here's a custom search for listeners who have at least 100 good reviews: Browse Listeners. When I looked just now there were eight of us online, any of whom will be happy to chat about your anxiety.

Well, I must say that IF this site were specially designed to somehow fulfill the needs of the originator of this post, e.g. "expertise in either computer or law" my first inclination would be of course to contact @RarelyCharlie. That would pretty much be a one stop shopping kind of deal! However, this is not what the site was designed for and Rarely is highly consistent in upholding that standard of this site. (no advice)
. I did click on the link to see our listeners that have "over 100 good reviews" that was just now provided by you ,and many do not fall into that category. Positive reviews, are simply positive reviews. Perhaps the search was based on "ratings". My understanding is that ratings are different than positive reviews. I was told that ratings are simply the addition of the positive reviews and the negative ratings given to the listener by members. Therefor, a search based on the listeners ratings may not be the best indication of what members would consider to be a "good" listener? One would search for a listener with less disparity between those two numbers. Is that correct, or have I been misinformed?
@PhoenixArisen Aha! You found a bug!
The search is for badge number 68, "Baron of Big-Hearts", which is advertised as being "for receiving 100 positive text reviews from members". I believed what it advertised
But you're right, there are listeners who have the badge but don't have 100 positive text reviews. I've reported it.

@RarelyCharlie
Aha! That is great news! Many thanks!
@BoLo How are you. Why dont you send em a PM. I just finished medical school and have down 3 cycles of psych rotations. Lets hear out your grievances and see where we end up.

@BoLo I'm not really sure this place is the best site for what you're looking for. You could try the chat rooms to see if there are people online who might know more of what you're looking for.
Good luck!
@BoLo I have experience in computers.
I'm not sure if this is the best forum for quick support as I am a brand new user, but how can I be of help?
