Hi,
I'm Priscilla and I'm new to 7 cups.
Overall I am a happy person and enjoy life, I didn't think I'd ever be on anything like 7 cups but these last few years have been especially difficult with depression and losing my parents and sister in a car crash. And now sadly I've been diagnosed with a terminal illness and I really just feel so betrayed by life. Right now I'm struggling with my emotions and depression and I don't want to be alone so hoping to find a good home here.

Welcome to 7cups. It's been a difficult few years for you due to everything that happened. I just wanted to say even the best of us struggle with life's unfortunate series of events. I know I have been blaming myself a lot, so if I would say anything right now to best support you, I'd say go easier on yourself. There is a lot of stress, but try to take it as it comes. Use your coping skills and remembering yourself for who you are instead of disaster. I wish you good luck and hope you find the proper support here!

I am glad for you that you can smile having a "terminal illness" and losing your family. After such tragedy and terminal illness, the choice of profile picture is surprising and also your smiling attitude...

Hi thanks for replying.
The picture is to remind me of happier times and to always keep smiling. And of course I want to keep a happy and positive attitude, if I don't I'll fall into a deep dark place and I don't want that.

Wow. You are going through so much! I can only imagine how hard and hurtful it is. But I admire the fact that you keep smiling, that you are reaching out AND that you are being so nice and kind! Absolutely impressive.
