Hi, I'm new here too.
I have anxiety sometimes and it can be panic attacks. I want to talk to people because I live by myself. Someday, I want to cure this.
@Ilovecanada
Me too. I want to cure it and help other people too for them to overcome it.
Hello, my name is Jay and I'm new to 7 Cups. I heard about this from a friend who joined in about an year ago, so I'm here to try it too... not really sure what I'm supposed to do and how it works, but I hope I can find some help since I'm struggling with both depression (almost two years now) and minor anxiety.
Hello everyone! As you all know, I'm a newbie and I would really like to explore more with 7 cups! You can all call me 'S', I am an undergrad with BS Psychology. Imyreally hapoy that I am able to practice what I learn inside my university! Hope you are doing all well!! :)
So are you not depressed or anxious? Just data mining those who are for a school project?
@myheartisopentolisten
Hello everyone! I started becoming a listener just this week. I'm really glad that I did because I really eant to practice my undergrad course which is psychology. I'm really glad that I could help. I also want to meet new friends so hit me up if you want to be friends! Have a good day everyone and Happy Holidays! :)
Another student data mining the emotionally vulnerable? Just wondering. @myheartisopentolisten
Hi, you can call me Soe.
I've joined just a few days ago, and I'm going to introduce myself here to step out of my comfort zone a little.
I'm here because I have a difficult home life and no one to talk to about it.
Aside from that I also have some trouble accepting my sexual orientation because of internalized phobia.
I hope that's keeping things simple enough for now.
Nice to meet everyone / よろしくね
@Soe22 welcome soe, wish the first days on seven cups have been as you hoped... i get you, accepting sexual orientation is a hard time for every each of us on lgbt community... feel free to text if you wanted to *-*
Hi, I'm Finch. Or at least that's what most people call me.
I'm not really sure why I'm here but a school counsellor suggested I join so here I am. She said something about more people listening on here and helping each other out. I hope to be able to experience all of that.
So I guess see y'all around here sometime :)
Hi my name is Daniel,
I found this resource after searching therapy resources on google. I've never done therapy or even talked much about my feelings, but I'd like to start. I've had a growing feeling that I need to process important things like who I am, where I'm from, and how it influences how I think, in order to grow as a person.
Hello everybody! I'm happy to be here!
hi daniel
This site is different from the one i experienced about 2 years ago. It was much interactive back them. There were alway chat rooms open with people communicating actively. This site is very quiet now.
Hello everyone.
You can call me Sree.
I am really glad to have found a platform like this which enable us to help out fellow human beings in need and at the same time grow our inner potentials and uplift ourselves too. I have had keen interest in cognitive behavioral therapy and I am learning it as well. And thank you again to the creators behind this wonderful platform.
Hello everyone!
I'm Cypris and this is probably my 2nd or maybe even 3rd time joining 7cups. The first time I found out about this website, I wanted to become a listener but my anxiety prevented me from doing so and I chickened out before ever even having my first conversation with someone. The 2nd time I came here was actually to talk to someone, as I was going through a pretty rough patch in my life. Now I'm at a really good place, both mentally and physically, and this time I feel ready to help out as much as I can and actually commit to the position of a listener. So that's one of my goals for 2020 - getting involved as much as possible in this community of lovely people! I tend to have issues with websites that have a lot of features and options, so this does sort of overwhelm me to some extent, but with everyone's help I'm sure I can figure it out and lend an ear (or eye!) to those in need. :)
