Hello, I recently joined 7 cups because, well, I'm actually having random attacks of relapse, and having a difficulty controling my emotions and racing thoughts. I haven't done anything harmful for over two years and I personally believe I have grown quite alot. But occasionally, I find myself having urges or remembering something that would make me phyically upset. I couldn't continue my "Real Life" therapy sessions so the past few months I have been trying to do things based on what I've learned but in result, without a guide, It seems to only hurt me or I have over grown the coping skills I learned a few years ago. And not to mention that I have also lost close friends due to them just, not talking to me, and my partner being busy. My family members are either busy or just don't have time to sit with me and have a conversation.

I've also been disocciated constantly and blacking out more than I believe I should be, my grounding coping skills have not been working and quite honestly, I've just been a mess.

The only good thing I can say that is going in my life is the fact that I'm not as bad as I used to be or as bad as I know I can be.

Maybe I just need somebody to talk to/vent to, or just write it all down (Twice). I don't know. I hope you are having a better day than I am though. Stay safe everyone.

@Chakra1 Being on here for the first time I'm glad I came across your post. I am proud of you for being so strong and ik we don't know each other and I hope I don't come off as weird but I am in full support of your journey! I don't want to discredit you by saying I can relate and know how you feel but I truly feel like you took the words out my mouth. it's reassuring knowing I'm not alone when it comes to instances of relapse and feeling like you don't have control over your thoughts and emotions. We're in this together!! I'm so proud of you and how far you have come, thank you for being strong I can tell you are a wonderful human being!

Hi today is my first time trying online services like this where I'm able to interact with people who may have experienced what I have been struggling with. There are a number of reasons why I'm here now, but to sum it up I've been struggling for what I feel was almost all of my life. I've been through some traumatic things in my life that I've kept inside and have only talked to a few people about my situation but I feel like I'm still drowning. I've come far on my own but I'm ready to finally be free and heal from my past trauma. I don't want to have to feel like I'm re-living all the traumatic things I've experienced anymore and honestly I want to better understand myself and possibly get a diagnosis of what could possibly be preventing me from living the life I know I can have. Until I am able to register myself into my school's counseling system when the school year begins, I need to start somewhere. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this.

Hi

I joined 7 Cups because I am struggling with weird dreams, depression, anxiety issues and the feeling of unworthiness. I struggle with life everyday. I hope by the time I will leave this platform i will have made friends who feel the same as I do and who will help me go through the pain i feel inside.

Thank you!!!

@passionateAvocado5574 Hi I'm new to this too and although we don't know each other, you have my support and can find a friend in me! I don't want to discredit your experience in any way but I just wanna say i understand what youre going through especially when it comes to dreams that bring discomfort, depression, anxiety, and constant feelings of unworthiness. But even though we are both struggling, I want to be able to show my support and let you know that I care about you! In this community we have each other and hopefully we both will find comfort here in a community built to support our mental health and communicate freely without judgement :)

Hello, I am dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Actually, that is not quite right, my relationship is actually pretty good for the most part, except when it isn't. I am attempting to start a new business venture. Over the years I have tried to do this many times, and each time something comes up to squash my hope, determination, and confidence. I am now in my late 50s, went through some scary life-threatening illnesses, and decided it is now or never for my business venture. As soon as I put that out there, my son was deathly ill and mismanaged through the medical community (it is only through the grace of God that he is still alive), COVID19 happened, and my husband has become quite contrary to everything. My husband worked as a clinical virologist in one of our local hospitals before retiring. He is furious at how things are being managed and he feels this is not as serious as it is made out to be. He is calling it a scamdemic instead of a pandemic. It is very frustrating listening to him malign everything. He finds ways to sabotage my workday whenever he can. I have suffered from depression all my life, but the anxiety is new. I signed up for a very expensive course to help me get my business going and I am finding it difficult between my husband, my worries over my son, my household duties, and my current work commitments to find time to go over the material. COVID19 has also brought out the anxiety that I rarely ever had. I feel that my time is running out and I will not get a chance to create my legacy that I want to leave for my son and his future children. I am an artist and graphic designer. I am a productivity and time-management expert (not that you could tell right now). I am a mother, a wife, a sister, and a friend.

Hello!

I joined 7 cups because I'm looking for support with my anxiety. I've had a lot of anxiety attacks this past year, but now I'm just having a hard time getting out of bed and it feels like my worries are weighing down on my chest. On a lighter note, I love gardening or anything else that forces my to be outside! I'm also starting to get into anime and kpop, and I'd love to meet anyone with similar interests!

@veenaaru

Hi vernaaru

YES, gardening and being outdoors in the natural environment is so healing. Weeding is so therapeutic! laugh. One of the best ways that I know work for me when I feel stuck, anxious and start spiraling into a black vortex of self loathing is to go outside (any season of the year) and JUST BE. I look at what Mother Earth has provided for me to see, smell, feel, hear, and sometimes taste. Then I feel calmer, grounded and connected to what is REAL. I hope you find peace and support here. heart

Hi everyone! I'm Ember.
I made this account ages ago, but this is my first time using it.

I have a hard time making friends. I've tried joining clubs, I've gotten physically fit, I've worked on my social skills... I even moved to a new city for a fresh start. But I'm still alone, sadly. There might just be something wrong with me.

Anyways, nice meeting you. I wish everyone on here the best in their own journeys.

@Ember7 hello! I'm also terrible at making friends. At least by myself. I've been ok with making friends while my husband has been around but when he's gone it's like I can't think or think too much and get uncomfortable with my friends. I've also been real terrible with reaching out once my friends move to a different state. Anyways, you're not alone!
