Hey peoples! I found/joined 7 cups today! :)

I would like to be a therapist once I get my degree and figured this would be a good way to practice and to help people during this crazy time. Honestly, I'm a little nervous about starting with a general chat, I am not the best at checking my phone sometimes but want to be reliable for whoever needs an ear. Any advice?

Hello, I joined up today and this is nerve wracking!

I actually joined in March but haven't been on since then- distracted by COVID-19 and work changes. I'm trying to figure out 7 Cups but not sure I know how to navigate. I'm mid-50s divorced American woman who is an empty-nester who moved to an unfamiliar city for a job, met a great guy who then moved away for a job a few months ago and now dealing with long-distance relationship and anxious about future.... I got a listener who is a 20-something man and English isn't his first language. I'm grateful to anyone who will listen, but not sure it's logical to think he can understand my position. Lol- hope I don't damage him and his perspective toward women.
