Hello all! Im fairly new to 7 Cups, but Ive already felt like Ive made an impact in the short time Ive been here.
A couple of days ago, I was struggling with some feelings I have for a friend of mine, and found this place where I could talk to a trained listener about something I dare not discuss in my real life. After having two conversations with people on here, I became instantly smitten with the 7 Cups and everything they stood for, so I trained as a listener immediately.
I started my listener saga yesterday with two different people, and I wasnt expecting to have a huge impact, but I helped one try to get a therapist (dealing with anxiety/depression that was affecting their studies) and the other discover things about themselves they never realized.
Ive never felt so good about chatting with random people anonymously online before, and I certainly wont be stopping anytime soon!
@geekyMusician122516 This is great to hear. I've yet to take the plunge and stafttalking to people, but this is very encouraging! I've also been thinking about becoming a listener and it's good to see that after a short time you already feel like you've helped.

Hello I am new as well. I think this is a great site. My problem is I prefer to listen to a question and respond. In other words I like having time to respond to a question already asked rather than actually trying to respond "live" to someone. Is that possible on this site? I know on the My Path site there were questions that were asked that you could respond to that were not live requests. Is that possible.
