Hi! I also joined today.
Hello everyone. Im Ahmed from Egypt. Ive been using this app for a day now and I still couldnt find a listener not to mention a good one that I feel I can open up to. I was kinda excited at first about this app but who am I kidding? Now it just feels like all those other dating apps. Perhaps most people on here are seeking help just like me and there is only a nobel minority doing all the good work. That has to be it. I mean Im a good listener but I never signed up to be one here mainly because thats not why Im here. The idea behind this app is majestic but its just too good to be true. Thanks anyway.
@MiZoGuCHi I feel the same way so I understand you completely. You can contact me if you want to talk, I

I hear you. It difficult to open up to let alone to strangers. But I do hope you feel better, and I hope I feel better too.
Hi. I am new here. I struggle with PTSD and some obsessive behaviors I need to figure out how to control. (Overeating overworking etc compulsively)

Hi! I'm a full-time student, married mother of a one-year old, bi-ethnic woman in a tri-cultural marriage. I have struggled with severe depression for over 15 years, as well as severe anxiety for half as long. I take medication to manage my symptoms. Never tried anything like this before, but open to a new experience and new management techniques!
Hello. I'm new here. I'm just to trying to find someone with similar issues to talk to. I deal with health anxiety, social anxiety, ptsd and ocd. Maybe also a helping hand to guide me through how everything works here.

Hello everybody. I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids, the youngest just diagnosed with autism. I am struggling with my place in life adjusting to having a kid with special needs, just feeling that life isnt fair. Depression & anxiety. I have always been the peacemaker in my family, not making waves, going with the flow, just trying to keep everyone happy. Even before i was married with kids. Now with all the stresses in my life it just feels like nobody gives a damn about what is really going on with me. Probably because i have really never told them. My husband is content to just roll through life as he always has. Drinking to excess and smoking pot to not deal with his problems. He has no emotional intelligence. When i try to engage him he is disinterested or will criticize me for having problems. He rarely expresses vulnerability so i dont feel like i can with him. Our communication is poor unless it is about general calendar items with the kids. Feelings are rarely discussed, if ever. I dont think we will stay married if something doesnt change. I know i need therapy but i am always with my kids while my husband works a lot and i dont have a regular schedule where i could always get to therapy consistently. So thats why i am here. One bright apot is i have recently started working out daily and also stopped eating meat in an effort to eat healthier and this has helped immensely! Does not cure the depression though it helps
Hi everyone,
i am a stay at home mom of two. Ive been home for 5 1/2 years now since my daughter was born and my youngest is almost 2. I have struggled with depression on and off for many years. Im currently trying to start a home business but finding it extremely difficult to muster any motivation or energy as most of my time is spent taking care of my family.
Im feeling exhausted, lonely, stressed and down on myself for not getting anywhere. I have recently noticed that my depression is coming on strong and I feel a lot of guilt for being easily frustrated and always so tired. I have no interest in anything that I would normally consider enjoyable.
Im hoping to start a regular exercise routine and to drink more water! (Im basically live on coffee at the moment).
Im happy to chat and I hope that I can learn some coping strategies from others here.
Just joined. Anxiety is a big problem for me..some days I'm okay but today and yesterday I feel like my arms weigh a ton,on the verge of tears and can't take anything in...people talk and my mind is like a blender just whirring and mixing everything up. Night terrors are making sleep hard,I've kind of got them under control but they go from uncontrollable shaking to seeing my daughter having seizures (she doesn't have any ever). I hate this feeling.
@Jenanne
Am so sorry about that, almost everybody struggles with anxiety. It can be hard but there is always a way to defeat it. If you ever want to talk, feel free to text. Welcome anyways
