Hello! I want to say welcome to all the fellow newcomers. I've been contemplating joining 7 cups for about a month now but I was too scared. I don't know of what, but I'm sure I can't have been the only one and so I would like to congatulate all of us for taking that step :)
I first found out about 7 cups when I googled "I have nobody in my life to talk to" and a link to 7 cups came up. I truely feel that I am at a crossroad, running out of time, at a place where I have to choose whether I am willing to help myself or not. I think this is me making a little step towrds the right path and it feels good.
I hope we can all recognize/create the path to a happy life, whatever shape or meaning that may have for each one of us. It can be a hard and daunting road so I want to wish good luck to everyone on this journey and also let you know that I support and accept you, even if I don't know you <3

This website is most definitely a diamond so far, just the incentive I need to grow my self as well as the parenting support and freindship i was initially searching for.

I've been loving the growth path too and have been trying to post on the forums to work up the courage to eventually actually initiate a conversation but for some reason i'm still finding that part extremely difficult which is funny because that was the whole point of joining
But everyone has been super nice so far so I don't know what my problem is, I expected the anoymity of it to make it slightly easier

@ColouringMask You would think so right. Careful now don't set yourself up for failure cause when you need it and you don't get it I just makes everything a 100 times worse .
@TheSocialHermit Yeah, life can be really mean and people can be real jerks. Most everyone here can attest to that. But life is full of ups and downs. The worst days have a possitive aspect, even if the biggest accomplishment was not burning the morning toast. So no, some days are not aspirational, but we get through. And we hope that some day in the future, things will actually get better.
Now I'm really hoping you don't burn your toast tomorrow morning...
Hi. I recently joined. Still trying to figure out next steps and realise that I'm going through a depression...so I suppose recognizing it is the first step to recovery. Suffered an injury and am immobile and feel like I am sinking deeper into solitude.
