I've had 7cups bookmarked on my dash for a long while, but just officially joined today.

I'm a 30ish year old ciswoman, married to a cisman, and working as a Realtor. It's a job where image really matters and that's sure something I struggle with.

I've been diagnosed with depression for several years and learning more about childhood symptoms has helped me reconize that my brain chemistry has probably been slightly different for most of my life. I also fit most of the symptoms for ADHD, though I haven't been formally diagnosed.

I currently see a therapist (who is wonderful!(after having seen some who were not so wonderful)) and I love going to sessions now.

My next goal is to see a doctor (it's been a few years) and get onto some mental health medication, because willpower and therapy is not getting me where I want to be.

I'm glad to have found this community and hope I can help someone else as well!

Hiya! I am a bit late joining - I joined in February- but I am excited to continue my journey on 7 cups! I joined because I want to learn how to help people in the best ways and help myself. I am currently juggling a lot of stress and worries, which is one of the reasons why I joined.

Greeting everyone💫 Im Laurie. Wondering if there are any aging ones out there to chat with? Being new and perusing 7 Cups, Im finding mostly young Listeners, which is wonderful! Although a Crone 👵🏻 Thread might be beneficial for those of us over 55... Just saying. BTW, have a great day. Ill keep checking in.
