Sometimes total strangers walk by me and negatively comment on how I look

I'm sure I'm not the only person that will reply and say yes. I once walked past a group of men whilst on a date, and one man said to my date "What are you doing with that thing" meaning me... it hurt, and my date didn't say a word to them or to me. We just kept walking. I never saw that date again... at the time I was angry that he didn't retaliate, but now I know that it wasn't the right thing to do and would have caused more abuse. But I do feel my date should have acknowledged it with me afterwards and reassured me that the man was out of order.
There are some cruel people in the world, judgemental too. Try not to allow others to affect who you are, and just keep on being yourself

It was the first and last date, I didn't want to see him again after that, I just felt that he didn't have the decency to acknowledge it even by saying " don't. listen to them". Its ok though, I'm really happy in a nearly 8 year relationship now, with a man who loves me even when I don't look my best 😍

Hey, just because they said that doesn't mean they really mean that to you. They were just trying to bully you or maybe even your date. You're beautiful no matter what other says 😊 and don't let the bullies get over you. Your're your own charm 😉

@helloCranberry5684 muslim minority here .... gets remarks on my color choices and attire ... I wear loose clothing muted colors
