Still living with the parent who abused me
I still live with the parent who abused me (threatened to slap me, call me ret*rded) and they have thrown dishes, screamed and yelled at me and ignores what they've done. Sometimes they try to hug me or pat my shoulder but I am scared and angry at this person and absolutely hate physical contact. I can't even say anything about that because they will yell at me for that too. It is so mentally exhausting especially since my family barely talks about those times. I had to sneak out the back door once and run through the brush to get to safety because it got so bad one time. One time I heard them stumbling drunk in the living room so I snuck out of the house at 4 in the morning in the dark and rain and went to my grandma's house.
