Hello everyone,
I'm Dewey and new here! I'm male, 46, fulltime carer to disabled parents who live with us, a house husband (I'm gay) and on top of this I'm a full time university student doing a Psychology and counselling degree. This app seems like a great resource and the advice on improving listening skills is very useful and good! I'm glad I joined here and hope I can help contribute by becoming a good listener. My time is limited BUT I will try to be as active as I can! Best wishes!

Hi, I'm Katrina, and I am here because I am struggling to move past a relationship that was emotionally, verbally, and sometimes physically abusive that has left me with very few supportive people in my life, in financial ruin, feeling hopeless and untrusting regarding future relationships, and struggling to move on from stubborn indignation. Well-meaning friends tend to minimize what I went through and are quick to just tell me to get over it. I'm hoping for more understanding and thoughtful support here!
