What I learned from my first day with 7cups.

So, last night I was in my flat on my own, and felt the feeling of fear and panic creeping up on me. When the attack finally hit, I couldn't stop crying because I felt truly alone on the world.

I started trawling the Internet, looking for places I could get help, and eventually came across 7cups. I loved the idea of embarking on a Growth Path, and felt like it might help me (as well as going to see my GP later on today).

So far I've learned that talking to someone is the best way I can start to tackle my anxiety, and that my worries are real to me, and people who care about me will see that and not think I'm silly.

@goodgollymissmolly

Hello there!

I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts here today, I can understand it can be quite a nervous thing to do, having said that, I also want to say that I think your are an incredibly brave person, why? Let me tell you, it's not easy to seek for help, and takes all our strength at times to realise we need it, not only did you seek help on line, which is a tremendous step by the way, your also being pro active and seeking help for your GP! Good job!

7cups is a community built up of many individuals all coming together to show support and provide positive relationships to improve our own development. There is no reason to feel alone here, you are very much a part of this community as the next person it, we have great group support chats, and a bunch of lovely listeners just waiting to welcome you with open arms, get stuck in...... I really hope you find this site helpful for your own development and watch yourself grow even further! You've already made a great start!

Well done, good look at the doctors! And all the very best to you !

Take care

I've learned that although people may be going through difficult times, there is hope. I enjoy listening and being there for other people.

How many people in our everyday lives get to say that?
