Words hurt more

I wasn't the type to mind the things people say about me. I never worried about it...or so I thought. As time passes by all the words people said to me came out from where I buried them, I suspect the trigger to be my immediate supervisor. Maybe just as others in the workplace I am underappreciated them making me feel like I deserve nothing that I have, that I never did something I didn't care at first as long as I'm doing my job. All those words stacked up it reached the bottleneck and it exploded, now I'm feeling miserable.

Leaving could make me feel a bit better but the trauma that I got will scar me for life. Be kind with your words, not everyone thinks the way like you do.

Hello!

I appreciate you saying that: “Be kind with your words, not everyone thinks the way like you do.”

Those are very wise words. Words do hurt and it hurts being on the other end. I’m sorry you’ve had this experience. Just know the community is here for you! <3 🌿🌺
