birthday celebrations not impressed
Maybe you should do mention a few of us loyal members on the birthday show ,not once was anyone mentioned who come here day in ,day out ,only mods and admin ,what about the people who make the website what it is for once ?
There wouldnt even be a 7 cups if nobody came here , instead of always blowing your own trumpets ,and high fiving all the other admins and mods here ,maybe think about the loyal members who use the rooms aswell and give one or two of those a mention and a bit of a thank you sometimes

Unfortunately, the community managers can't host high-five lanes very often, as they're a bit busy with site manners. People are welcome to submit a high-five to everyone including members, not just moderators or community managers. You can also send a shout-out during other times of the year, such as during holiday times when there're often special events being hosted. However, don't feel limited to the holidays! You can message or post a shout-out anytime. I appreciate you, and so do lots of other people around here, and I'll be sure you get a formal shout-out next special event!
The high fives were spread out pretty well, but I didn't catch a single member with a paper plate award (not to say there wasn't any, but none I could recognize).
Members could nominate for both, I had actually meant to do some of the paper plate nominations - both listeners and members - but missed it. I was a little surprised that the listeners didn't seem to send more out to members. I say this not as one expecting one this year, I've not been on the site as much as in the past, but I do see other members who could have easily had some. There is confidentialty issues with 1-1s, but members do more than just chat with individual listeners.

I agree. Members provide help in many forms. I have personally seen members being incredibly supportive in group chatrooms and they help members and listeners in forums as well. Without all you amazing members, there would be no listeners. Thank you for everything!

Yes, members play a significant role in making 7 Cups the supportive community that it is today. I appreciate the tremendous amount of positivity and support that members bring to this platform. It is truly an honor to have you all here.
