well i'm in a pickle ,all my own stupid fault. in 2011 i filed for a divorce from my mentally and finiancally abusive partner. she had heavily persuaded me in 2008 to have a civil partnership,i have a mental illness and was unstable at that time and was not capable of making big decisions like that she rushed it all through in about 4/5 weeks. at the end of this relationship i had the vunerable adults team involved .

but when seeing my solictor for a divorce she did not mention finiancal settlement i though she was because neither of us had assests.

then last year i inherited money and a house ,the house was left to my brother and i. and i brought my own house with some of the cash.

i sought legal advice then could my ex make a claim if she found out i was told yes because there was no finiancal settlement. i thought she wouldnt know as she had moved 300 miles away. then tonight this woman who had been a mutual friend on facebook but more my ex's friend sent me a message,i hadnt chatted with her since 2012 and had since just deleted her. but i was also chatting to my currents partner mother ,i typed" got the ex's friend sent me a message i'm going to tell a few lies dont want the ex finding out ive inherited and the solictor said she can claim half" well u can guess what happened i had typed it into this mutual friends box by mistake and pressed send.i was horrified by my mistake so i sent her a few messages saying my partner had sent it as a wind up etc etc seeing she hadnt seen this message i searched for ways to delete what i had sent but u cant. some folk said mark it as spam the deactivate ur facebook for 3 hours but i tested that out by sending a message to my partner.....doesnt work. so as u can imagine i'm sick with worry through my stupis mistake

if you were abused you can challenge her in court and not have to give her any of it
