Cycle sickness
I know in the past women were taught that getting really sick with their cycles was not a big deal. But it is a real issue that women go through, and it needs to be treated that way. I know what it’s like to suffer from getting really sick and having no one take you seriously. I finally was able to get help after an event that knocked some sense into the other people in my life. If you are a woman going through this, please get help—you do NOT deserve to suffer through it. My question to the group is: has anyone else gone through this? I have never met anyone else who has experienced this before. @ShadowFaerie

I've always had bad pmt, compared to hearing about other women explaining their symptoms and for the last few years, I can relate.
All day cramps, nausea, and restlessness. It's hard to sleep, even though I have very lil energy. I make sure I'm really hungry and I literally have to play anti nausea binaurals or pause munching halfway to calm myself.
(I wonder if this will stay up or be removed) 😂
@ScrabbleBrain
Hey. I don't think there's reason enough for this to be taken down. It's tough being a woman. I know that feeling of uneasiness coupled with cramps. It's utterly painful. PMS has been harder for me than the actual cycle itself off late and I'm actually sitting with a terrible back pain as I type this. I send you hot bag, crisps, dark chocolate, herbal tea and all the essentials so you're able to power through this bravely.

@trueconfidant123 well several of mine were removed and one was about this topic so.. Hmm.
Thank you for your kindness. I hope you're applying heat and being looked after like the Queen you are. I play binaural videos in the background to cope with pain, it's a tonic for me.
I'm not doing great either but got my blankie and waiting to feel hungry to munch ha. Please do look after yourself :)
I'm sending you a butler, ice cream and trashy books to read 🥰
@ScrabbleBrain
I'm sorry. I'm not sure why they did that. Binaural videos is something I've never tried personally but I'm going to take a peek and see if that's something that helps me put myself at ease. Please take care of yourself. Stay hydrated and well fed. Thank you for all the kindness and warmth. You're truly a gem.
@trueconfidant123 sometimes I try a few before I get perfection and a pain free experience and then I add it to a playlist ha.
I have my theories about why it happened..
Thank you too for looking out for me and others, while you're not feeling 100% yourself, shows how thoughtful and compassionate you are :)
I'm making life up as I go 🌻🍟
@ScrabbleBrain
Do you have any recommendations for me?
I'd love to explore on those lines.

You're a blessing, an angel. Omg. Thank you so much for the list.

@trueconfidant123 Anytime and if it mysteriously disappears, I'll message you with it again :)
You don't necessarily need headphones, what I would say is, I don't recommend it on too low a volume, medium is best, from the years I've been using them :) I like natural stuff.
@ScrabbleBrain
Noted. I'll pm you with a review. Again, I really appreciate the hardwork in creating and posting this list. 💞😉
@trueconfidant123 the funny thing is there is more but I only wanted to post the ones I've had results with.
If it helps you, that's all the thanks I need 🥰 I am so bloated 😂 A few favourites were removed so I copied it to my phone ha
@ScrabbleBrain
i can tell you really care about this topic and want to help
@Magicpawsoffuture No problem, when you're suffering, you look for alsorts to remove it and it's something to try without side effects, well except if you have super sensitive ears :)
Medicine only has so much to offer. Seems like treatment to not be sick just isn't an option. Hormones can trigger so many issues.
Even. So mine. Is mostly control , I still have bad days at times. I hope this forum of i did would bring awareness of this and bring change for the better.
@Magicpawsoffuture
Thank you for sharing this. I think it is important to talk openly about experiences like these because many women grow up hearing that severe pain or sickness during their cycle is something they simply have to tolerate. While some discomfort may be common, suffering to the point that it significantly affects daily life should not be dismissed or normalized.
What stands out to me most is your encouragement to seek help and advocate for oneself. It can be incredibly frustrating when symptoms are minimized or not taken seriously, especially when they have a real impact on physical and emotional well-being. Conversations like this help raise awareness and remind people that they deserve support, understanding, and appropriate medical care.
Thank you for speaking about something that is often overlooked. I hope anyone struggling with similar symptoms finds the support and treatment they need.
