Boyfriend concerns
I just wanted to come on here and discuss some feelings. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were watching a show where one of the female main characters was upset about something her boyfriend was doing. In the way the show was portraying the situation, I had really respected how the character was asking others for advice, setting boundaries with her boyfriend and being honest and brave about how she felt.
While this was playing out, my boyfriend kept mentioning that this character was being “psychotic”. I didn’t really respond because i didn’t want to start anything, but it made me feel uncomfortable the way he would use such language to describe a young girl who was trying to navigate how to feel in her situation.
Awhile ago, I played some video games with my boyfriend and his friends, and they invited me into their *** chats. And today I looked through one of them and i noticed my boyfriend had sent a gamer girls twitch profile in the chat and some of his friends responses were kinda mean. In other words, i think they were making fun of her body…
Im a little worried he is watching this girl for sexual reasons, but also more concerned if he sent that to make fun of her in his chat. He has always been such a sweet guy but i can’t tell if these two instances are a little disrespectful of women? And I don’t want to bring this up to him because im scared he is going to talk to his friends about it or think im crazy

It was disrespectful.
No man has the right to call any woman psychotic for not bring afraid to share her feelings.
And they have no right to be derogatory about any woman's body!
It's important that in any relationship you are able to be honest without fear, and that you are able to set boundaries that are adhered to and respected and you should never feel guilty about that.
I wish you the best 🩵🤗

If youre scared your boyfriend's going to react negatively to you pointing out his own disrespect... respectfully ma'am, i think you need a better boyfriend.
I'd suggest talking to him, if thats a safe option. If thats not a safe option, that's not a boyfriend.
