It’s depressing to go through abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance. Eventhough ob gyne prescribed me hormonal pills to help me with my bleeding i still feel depressed about it everytime i have my withdrawal period. It all just feels alien to me. Im depressed and anxious about it, i get panic attacks too. I just want all to go back to normal. Whats more depressing is my ob gyne commented if i still experience this the third time she advised to have my uterus removed 😢😢😢

@Joyanne9381 I'm so sorry, it must be terrible to feel so out of control about what your body is doing. Remember that you've taken every step you could to make things better, and it's totally normal to still feel so bad if there are no significant changes. Our bodies can be incredibly frustrating and complicated at times, so there's no shame in feeling bad when they don't work in the same way we were used to.
Give yourself kindness and compassion, take good care of yourself and remember that none of this is your fault. You will face whatever may come one step at a time, remembering that the most important thing is for you to feel better, one way or another.

@Joyanne9381 oh I'm so sorry you're going through this. I often wonder why our bodies are so delicate. A little thing goes wrong and it causes us so much anguish on the physical and mental level. Please be as kind and loving to yourself - you deserve it. Life's life that... we all get health problems and have to take them in our stride with as much gentle grace as possible.

I know of a few people who had their uterus removed. Some are living normal lives after it. Some complain of after effects. Consult a second doctor if needed to make best judgment for yourself. A surgery is a big thing.
