@juliak1968 my mother is the most inspiring women I have ever known. After my father's death she played a role of both father and mother. She has been a solid rock support for us and has been incredible through her whole life.. I miss her alot and love her
@Luciddreamsicle for me that would be my aunt. Growing up i didn't see any woman in my family stand so strong and fight for themselves. I can't explain what "normal women" are like in my whole family tree. I used to think as a kid oh why's she being so rude and selfish and so daring. Now i see her in a completely different light. She's the cycle breaker. She's an inspiration to me now.
@Lestalestrange I look up to her now truly. I used to be so timid and scared but she really inspires me to be strong in mind.

One of the most inspirational women I know is my mentor! I worked with her on an internship site and she has overcome many adversities with having a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). With struggling with the TBI including its diagnosis and treatments for many years, she joined a community to help other women and spread awareness about TBI! She is very down-to-earth, intelligent and has a drive to help others! I strive to be more like her everyday. 🤗

A few women come to mind whom I have met while travelling in a pretty poor and patriarchical country. Those women despite being poor and - well - women managed to not care about gender role expectation and limitations and make a living for themselves and their loved ones. The kind of confidence they were vibing was so inspiring. I often think of them when I struggle with sexism here in my rich western country ... if they could manage to hold their head high, surely I can too

What qualities does/did she embody? Authentic minded, Kindness and Resilience
What was your relationship like? She is my grandma lol
What is the best advice she’s given you? "If you keep falling for the same pattern then you all you are going to be doing is hurting yourself."
What was special about this woman? She has helped me in so many ways, and be the mom I am today with my own daughter. She has been my rock since childhood <3
