TW!!

I’m a sixteen year old who struggles heavily with PMDD (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder) and I don’t know how I can cope with it. I’ve already done so much work and yet it still makes me want to off myself. I’m on birth control to regulate my hormones and on Prozac to limit the lows. But I’m also currently grieving the death of my brother and having PMDD is not helping whatsoever. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’m exhausted and beginning to think there’s no hope for me. Does anyone have anything that’s helped them that they can recommend?

@Ashley2508

hey there, I don’t have any good advice either I’m in my late twenties and have been dealing with it. It gets no better however it’s how you deal with it that matters the most. Our bodies our weird our pain tolerance is weird because we are all different. The way I go through having PMDD and PMS will be completely different than anyone’s. What I’m trying to get across dear, is that there are many ways to deal with this but it all starts with you, and how you treat yourself. I hope this helps dear. Sending lots of hugs your way and my condolences on the loss of your brother I hope you are taking care of yourself he’d want you too! 💐🙏🏼
