Just try to be aware of your surroundings. if someone is lurking a lot. I've kept a hand sanitiser in my purse for ages, it could act as a deterrent if it comes to being cornered.
Also it's amazing how a phone's bright light is surprisingly intimidating when shined in someone's eye.
Shouting is also your friend, if you feel uncomfortable.
I used to get a lot of kerb crawlers and funny how they don't like when you stand behind the car and get your phone camera out to record the licence plate, ha, they scurried off pretty quickly.
Another possibility is an app that is a personal alarm or an actual personal alarm.
Other than that. enjoy your evenings and it's good you're staying safe :)

there are many ways to provide ourselves with comfort, and endless support. You achieved one by speaking out, and that takes a lot of courage/bravery.ย
