keep trying
With a defeat, when you lose, you get up, you make it better, you try again. That’s what I do in life, when I get down, when I get sick, I don’t want to just stop. I keep going and I try to do more. Everyone always says never give up but you really have to take that to heart and really do never definitely give up. Keep trying.
Empowering reminder! @tanish0007
I agree totally. It reminds me after my sciatica got out of control doctors told me not to walk sit or lay for too long. Bein’ raised a walker I told doctors yer take away my ability to walk yer take away my life. Well first 2-3 years was a real killer on my body but little by little I would add in more blocks to walk. I needed to get back to what I was used to. After 3 years I had ‘dey sciatica in remission and’ I was nano walking even a bit more than I used to. Doctors were surprised and’ suggested I keep doing as I was. In one sense I’m much like my daughter she will tell people Ya tell her she can’t do somethin’ dat motivates her even more to go out an do it an I’m da same way but problem wit ME as my late husband would say I at times can’ over do it but I enjoy it
@eternalHero77 Thank you for sharing this - it shows that some will draw inspiration from critique to boost self esteem
@eternalHero77 u are the real hero
Thank you. You’ know one thing that’ does motivate me is my mom I saw how she would give up so quick she would complain about every ache And pain she had. During that’ time no I didn’t believe a person could have so much pain like she said she had. I would tell her get up out the bed and do something to help herself she stayed there far too long. I swore I would never be like her In dat aspect. At 23 my world of pain started. I then understood what she meant bout pain but I was determined to practice what I had preached to her and I’ve been doing it. I already was use to a lot of walking but as of this past week I began jogging. I’m working myself up slowly but I do notice I’m getting better at it where I can jog more and walk less but I still alternate between ‘em. If I see I’m out of breath I stop an walk til I get my breath back then jog. A few times I increased it a notch by running. My thing I have had a habit of sayin’ is if I do end up complaining at all then at least I tried to help myself rather than sit back and ‘do nothin’.
@tanish0007 thank you Tanisha - this is an encouraging message for those who want to give up
