The Conversations No One Prepared Us For
Growing up, so many of us didn’t get open, honest talk about sexual health. As adults, we end up piecing it together ourselves. What’s one thing about sexual health you wish had been explained better earlier in life?

I mean, we live in such an oversexualized society... I mean, I don´t know... it is not just that... but I have a sense that most of children are misdirected, misguided and lost and that is also for sexual side of things and we end up hurting ourselves.
I have been through sexual addiction, immorality, pornography ... and such a sickness in past... so I know what it can do. And I am glad I am free forever of it.
@Amazinggracethatsavedawretchlikeme I too think that we live in an oversexualized community. It has many positive effects but i have noticed there are negative effects too. Mainly because of social media, many people have diverted from achieving goals in life, working towards the betterment of the world, working towards growing yourself internally, achieving mental calmness to spending more time on social media to watching content about gender, different aspects, negative qualities of opposite gender, dividing social groups by gender etc. which I won't say is bad but I have noticed that it has made people divert from goals, waste time and get mentally overwhelmed.
I see exploring about gender, seeing different aspects and treating every gender equally as a very important and a positive outcome of the modern society
but, i also think that it has made walls between humans.
After all, we all are beautiful humans. If we can support others, help them improve and improve ourselves rather than dividing ourselves as different groups and always talking negative about other genders will definitely have a positive effect.
There is also the thought that oversexualization has made people waste hours and days of their precious life in front of screens, trying to make themselves look better and trying to become an ideal person that you see in social media.
So maybe all of this is be a marketing goal of social media companies to make people engage in their software more.
I would like to see people going on adventures, talking different ideas, appreciating small gifts in life, learning different art, exploring new hobbies, making connections with other humans without thinking how other people would think about it. ✨🌿⛰️🫂😊🎶🦋

I can understand where you are coming from, and from personal experience I wish my own parents would sat down and explained to me the importance behind the word "no" an that I was allowed to say "no" . I feel that you are definitely onto something, because speaking on the importance of teaching children, especially young ladies that sexual health is very very important.
No one ever told us about what saying @no@ does and how it feels but also no one ever told us how to take care of our self’s in an intimate manner.
