At the Food & Nutrition Center in Palo Alto, CA, we are dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our welcoming food pantry is open five days a week, allowing clients to 'shop' for fresh dairy, produce, and nutritious groceries that fit their budgets. We prioritize healthy eating and empower our community through nutrition education workshops, informative flyers, and approachable recipes designed to promote better shopping habits. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, offering pre-bagged food distributions in the CSA parking lot while kindly requesting clients to wear masks. While we typically focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, we are currently accepting donations of shelf-stable items such as canned or boxed food to continue supporting those we serve with quality nutrition.
