Sister Dolores Social Outreach, located in San Diego, CA, is dedicated to alleviating the hardships faced by our community members in need of essential food assistance, clothing, and shelter. We serve not only the working poor and homeless in San Diego but also extend our compassion to the most vulnerable populations in Tijuana. Our programs include a community food pantry that provides emergency food resources, a clothes closet for those in need, and support for the San Diego Interfaith Shelter Network. We facilitate the collection and distribution of basic commodities to ensure that those in Tijuana receive vital aid. Additionally, we act as a referral resource to connect individuals with other federal, state, and local social service agencies. Our initiatives are made possible by the generous contributions of parish volunteers and funding from the Emergency Food and Shelter program through the San Diego Food Bank. Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for lunch sack distributions and various food commodity offerings tailored to registered residents of Chula Vista.
