HealthRIGHT 360's Walden House on Chinook Street provides comprehensive treatment services for men and women struggling with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders. Operating as part of HealthRIGHT 360's network of over 50 programs across California, this facility offers a complete continuum of care in a multicultural environment. Services include detoxification following a social model that emphasizes coping skills and self-esteem management, residential treatment, outpatient programs, and sober and transitional living options. The treatment approach incorporates evidence-based psychotherapy, 12-Step Facilitation, stress management, medication management, positive affirmations, medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, and employment re-entry services. Residents in sober or transitional living must concurrently attend an outpatient program, either at this location, another HealthRIGHT 360 facility, or an external provider. Walden House features gender-specific programming, including specialized support for expecting and new mothers that includes pathways to family reunification as part of recovery. The experienced staff serves clients from all backgrounds, with additional support available for individuals who are homeless, living with HIV, or between 18-20 years old. The facility welcomes both self-referrals and professional referrals.
