Everyday Eats, part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income individuals aged 60 and above in Steamboat Springs, CO, and surrounding areas. We provide eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious, non-perishable items, including protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with helpful nutrition education and recipes. Our outreach extends through various distribution sites across multiple counties, ensuring that no older adult goes hungry. For seniors who are homebound, we offer home delivery in select counties including Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver. To qualify, individuals must meet specific income criteria as well. Together, we strive to promote healthy eating and access to vital food assistance for our older neighbors in Colorado.
