Located in Old Lyme, CT, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing vital financial assistance. Our program offers help for medical costs such as prescriptions, medical bills, and durable medical equipment, while also addressing essential non-medical expenses, including home and vehicle modifications, clothing, diapers, and daily living costs like food and utilities. We understand the importance of access to healthcare, which is why we also assist with travel and lodging expenses for medical visits. Grants of up to $500 per family, per year are available, with requests reviewed promptly and processed in the order they are received. For any larger funding needs, we encourage families to reach out, as additional requests are evaluated with care. We are here to lighten the burden on families during challenging times and ensure that no child’s health care needs go unmet.
