I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals with tools to increase their level of functioning, while building self-sufficiency and resiliency. No matter what you're going through, things CAN get better and I will help you "see the light at the end of the tunnel". At times we explore the problem and others we'll look for the solution. How we move forward is based on where you are and what you need. I gently challenge my clients to think about what they can change to improve their situation. Then, together, we make an action plan that you feel is realistic and feasible. I look forward to working with you to make positive change in your life. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 13 years in various clinical settings. I have experience helping adults cope with depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, parenting issues, vocational issues, anger management, trauma, abuse, and grief. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which examines the relationship between your thoughts and the feelings that those thoughts cause. I also teach stress relief, which frankly we all need, in the form of relaxation techniques and mindfulness. I can help you reduce your worries and stress, adjust to change, reach your personal goals, and find short and long-term solutions to the problems you’re struggling with. I'm glad you're here on this journey with me!

With over two decades of experience in the social service field, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy that supports individuals across the lifespan. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I offer virtual sessions exclusively, serving clients in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Vermont. My therapeutic style is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to help clients understand the roots of their symptoms and move toward healing. I specialize in trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, and narcissistic abuse syndrome. As a certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), I provide informed, empathetic care for those navigating the complex aftermath of emotional abuse—as well as those currently in emotionally abusive relationships seeking clarity, safety, and support. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Outside of my clinical work, I find restoration in nature and value the grounding it brings to both life and practice.
My approach is collaborative and curious. We’ll create a space that feels supportive and flexible—one where you can show up as yourself. I bring warmth, compassion, and a genuine interest in getting to know you, and we’ll find what works best for you along the way. Even for people who are doing all the “right” things, life can take unexpected turns. There’s no perfect path—just the one that’s uniquely yours. I work with adults in their 20s and 30s who are navigating all kinds of transitions—starting or going through school, moving somewhere new, figuring out relationships, or rethinking work and purpose. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on in your life and move toward the kind of emotional balance and fulfillment that matters most to you. I hold a Master of Arts in Social Work (AM) from the University of Chicago. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts in Education from American Jewish University. We are in network with BCBS PPO and Blue Choice and Aetna
