With an estimated 86 million Americans unaware of their prediabetic condition, our program plays a critical role in education and prevention. Backed by research from the National Institutes of Health, we demonstrate a remarkable capability to lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58% overall and even more for those over 60. Participants will engage in a supportive, small group setting led by trained lifestyle coaches, focusing on practical strategies for healthy eating, physical activity, and behavior change over the course of a year. The program aims for participants to lose 7% of their body weight and to increase physical activity to at least 150 minutes per week. Together, we create a nurturing environment where individuals share experiences, motivate one another, and foster lasting friendships, all while taking significant steps towards better health.
