The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Inver Grove Heights, MN, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This fellowship empowers participants through comprehensive organic food system education, transforming them into teachers and leaders who champion social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellows engage in hands-on experiences at AMI’s Allegheny Farm, committing to six months of immersive training followed by a year of community action where they collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to enhance food access and literacy. Through initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, mentoring future Fellows, and supporting community gardens and farmers markets, we strive to create stronger, healthier communities. We believe in accessibility and do not charge tuition, ensuring that all passionate individuals can join us in this vital work. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
