Healthy Eating for Successful Living in Older Adults in Danville, NH, is dedicated to empowering seniors to embrace nutrition as a key component of healthy aging. Our program offers in-depth nutrition education, focusing on goal setting, problem solving, and self-assessment to encourage better dietary habits. Led by trained peer leaders and supported by a registered dietitian, participants engage in six interactive sessions, each lasting 2 ½ hours, where they learn to manage their dietary patterns using the USDA MyPyramid™ guidelines. To celebrate their journey, we conclude with a Healthy Eating™ restaurant outing one month after the last session, fostering community and continued support.
