Located in Ridgewood, NJ, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year, enabling tailored referrals to various weight management services that align with their personal needs and lifestyles. The MOVE! program offers a range of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For Veterans who have not achieved their weight loss goals through these methods, we also provide access to medical weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. To participate in MOVE!, we encourage interested Veterans to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards healthier living.
