About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Ashland, OR, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable food systems. Our program trains and empowers participants to advocate for a food system that is equitable, environmentally conscious, and economically viable. Fellows engage in hands-on, experiential learning through an immersive six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they receive comprehensive education in organic food production and community engagement. Following this, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their skills in real-world settings. Through initiatives such as growing diversified crops, conducting innovative health education, and supporting farmers markets, our Fellows work to enhance community food access and promote food literacy. We are committed to making this transformative experience accessible, as there are no tuition fees. Individuals interested in joining our mission can apply by March of each year, with the program running from May to October.
