Located in Portland, OR, Community Resources is dedicated to assisting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship by providing essential services that promote dignity and respect. Our Beaverton Adventist Community Services program is part of the larger national Adventist Community Services, focused on delivering practical support through a variety of offerings. We proudly operate a food pantry that ensures access to emergency food supplies, alongside additional resources like a free clothes closet, personal care items, and household goods. Open every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., we prioritize a compassionate approach by allowing clients to select from available food options, recognizing each person's unique circumstances. When specific needs arise, we are committed to making appropriate referrals to other resources in the community. Our mission is to provide support that fosters dignity, choice, and independence for all we serve.
