Cure Hunger, an initiative of the Salvation Army Tualatin Valley Citadel in Portland, OR, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to those in need. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious meals and basic hygiene products. We operate a welcoming food pantry offering daily sack lunches and pre-made food boxes, available every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. To prioritize the health and safety of our community, we are currently serving one family at a time and providing grab-and-go lunches for individuals experiencing homelessness. At Cure Hunger, we are committed to meeting the needs of those we serve with compassion and care, making a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors in need.
