Meals 4 Kids is dedicated to combating food insecurity for children and families in Portland, OR by providing essential food assistance directly to those in need. Our program caters to families facing various barriers that may affect their access to nutritious resources and the ability to prepare meals. Each weekday, we deliver healthy meals, milk, bread, and fresh fruit to the homes of qualified families, ensuring that every child has the nutrition they deserve. We proudly serve those whose household income is at 185% or lower of the federal poverty level, with the cost of meals generously funded by the Portland Children’s Levy. To request our services, families can complete a simple form, and our supportive Meals on Wheels People staff will reach out to assess eligibility and facilitate the process.
