Emergency Food in Talent, OR is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to the residents of Ashland, Talent, and neighboring rural communities. We serve individuals facing challenges such as unemployment, underemployment, as well as students, seniors, and those experiencing homelessness, with nearly a quarter of our customers being children under 18. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to emergency food when they need it most. Signing up to receive food is straightforward—simply visit us with proof of your address, such as a Driver's License, State ID, or utility bill. For travelers, we provide a 'Traveler Bag' on your first visit, and after 30 days, you'll be able to shop monthly. No extensive paperwork is needed; we welcome those with out-of-state IDs and even those without any ID, as we aim to serve the community inclusively. Join us at our food pantry, open Monday through Friday, the first Saturday of the month, and on the fourth Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Together, we can ensure that no one goes hungry in our community.
