MOVE! Weight Management Program in Pittsburgh, PA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring that they are guided to appropriate weight management services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for a self-directed approach to weight management. For those who need additional help, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!
