Senior Boxes

St. Katharine Drexel Parish Upper Darby, PA

About Senior Boxes

Senior Boxes is dedicated to supporting low-income seniors aged 60 and over in Upper Darby, PA, ensuring they receive essential food assistance. Our program provides nutritious food boxes to residents of Delaware County who are not enrolled in any other Senior Box program. To access this vital service, seniors are encouraged to register at our office, where they can complete the necessary paperwork during designated hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Food boxes are available for pickup on the second Tuesday of each month between 12:00 P.M. and 1:45 P.M., with the requirement that they be collected by the senior or an assigned Proxy. In cases where a senior is unable to pick up their box due to illness or other circumstances, they and their Proxy will need to sign a form at our office to authorize the pickup, and the Proxy must present their ID each time. At Senior Boxes, we strive to alleviate food insecurity among our community's elders, ensuring they have access to the nourishment they need.
