At Mission Centers of Houston in Houston, TX, our Adult Programs are dedicated to enriching the lives of senior adults through a variety of compassionate services and community engagement. Our ministry includes vital offerings such as home-bound food delivery, essential hygiene bags for the homeless, and comprehensive food and clothing distribution. Every week, over 100 seniors participate in our gatherings at the Gano Mission Center and Joy Fellowship Center, where they enjoy nourishing meals, fellowship, and spiritual growth through Bible Study. We pride ourselves on providing enriching experiences, including exciting day trips, with a highlight being our annual overnight retreat to Palacios, TX. Additionally, we serve over 30 homebound seniors through our dedicated volunteer network, ensuring they receive not only food but also emotional and spiritual support through pastoral counsel. We offer free Bible Study classes, twice weekly, designed to foster community and connection among our participants, alongside marriage and parenting classes for women, all led by our caring local volunteers and staff. Through our commitment to service and support, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for seniors in our community.
