St. Luke the Evangelist Episcopal Church, established over a century ago as Houston's first Black Episcopal Church, is dedicated to enriching the community through spiritual outreach and educational initiatives. Located in Houston's Third Ward, this inclusive congregation welcomes all individuals, fostering fellowship and unity among diverse backgrounds. The church offers a range of services, including worship, prayer, and community engagement, with a strong focus on supporting local students at Texas Southern University and the University of Houston. Through its partnerships and programs, St. Luke also addresses broader community needs, such as food insecurity, by providing resources like the Manna House Food Pantry. Engage with our inclusive ministries to experience the vibrant support network within the church community.
