Friday FoodBasket is dedicated to providing vital food assistance in Plano, TX, to low-income seniors and eligible disabled individuals receiving SSI or SSDI. We understand the pressing need for support, and our mission is to ensure that those 60 and older, as well as disabled persons referred through our emergency aid center, have access to essential groceries. Our clients receive a pre-packaged bag of nutritious food, distributed every Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To access our services, individuals must apply in person, and we prioritize clients on a first-come, first-served basis. At Friday FoodBasket, we believe in extending our compassion and service to all who qualify, regardless of their residence, as we strive to alleviate hunger and provide a helping hand to those in need within our community.
