Marijuana is a drug, but is smoking it recreationally considered drug abuse. With it being legalized, I dunno whether marijuana should be considered bad or good?

Marijuana is not necessarily a bad drug, especially in comparison to others. For example, it’s a lot ”healthier“ than the socially accepted drug alcohol. But like it is with anything, it really depends on the amount and how often you use it. It can be, like anything, damaging (to the brain) but only if it’s used too much. I personally support the legalisation of Marijuana as it brings more advantages than disadvantages and I do think it’s rather a „good“ than „bad“ drug. Using it obviously brings some risks with it as it can for example trigger schizophrenia but please note that it cannot cause it, only trigger it. Anyways, it’s worth informing yourself about it because it’s a quite relevant topic and I hope I could be of some help.

Even though marijuana is legalized it can't be considered something good. There are also other legal drugs and also for them we can't tell that they are good. Tobacco consumption is bad for your body regardless of quantity and method of its consumption (smoking cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, tobacco for chewing) and regardless that it is legal. Alcohol is only good if you consume it in moderation. If you use alcohol excessivelly it is very bad for you and can cause much harm. The same can be true with marijuana. As i am not expert in marijuana, i can't tell how much marijuana you can consume daily or weekly without harm, but using it in excess is harmful regardless of how much do you use it.
