Someone to Talk to About Worrying

Worrying is a natural part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming, it can feel exhausting and paralyzing. Constant thoughts about the future, uncertainties, or worst-case scenarios can make it difficult to relax and enjoy the present moment.

If you find yourself stuck in cycles of worry, know that you are not alone. While it’s hard to turn off anxious thoughts, there are ways to manage them and find relief. Learning mindfulness techniques, practicing self-compassion, and talking to someone can help ease the weight of excessive worry.

At 7 Cups, our listeners are here to offer support and reassurance. You don’t have to carry all your worries by yourself - sharing your thoughts with someone who understands can bring comfort and clarity.

Hi there!  My name is Cara, and i am a mother to two little boys, a student, and someone who’s currently navigating a pretty big season of change in life. I’m naturally a caring and empathetic person, and I really value genuine conversations where people can be themselves without feeling judged. I love humor, meaningful conversations, getting outdoors, good coffee, and finding little moments of happiness in the middle of everyday chaos. I joined 7 Cups because I think sometimes you just need somewhere to talk — whether you’re going through something difficult, feeling overwhelmed or lonely, or simply need another human being to listen. I’m working on taking life one day at a time, learning more about myself along the way, and creating a peaceful, happy life for myself and my boys.
