Bio

Middle school was the first time I tried to be honest
about who I was. I came out as transgender, hoping the people around me would
understand. Instead, the friends I trusted turned on me. Rumors spread through
the halls for almost two years — rumors about my identity, my religion, and
things I never did. It got so out of control that the police showed up at my
house because of lies people told about me. They accused me of things that
didn’t match who I was at all.

People even claimed I talked about hurting myself, which
wasn’t true, but it was enough to bring officers to my door. I laughed and
joked with them because that’s what I do when I’m scared — I hide how I
actually feel.

The worst rumor was the one that cost me every friend I
had. People said I had done things in the locker room that never happened.
Losing everyone over lies like that changed me. Even when the rumors finally
faded in 8th grade, the people who pretended to be close to me wouldn’t even
look at me once we got to high school.

During all of this, I started smoking in 7th grade and
quit in 8th, but people used that to make their stories sound more believable
saying I did more hardcore things - things far beyond the truth.

As I got older, my relationships became complicated and
often painful. Some people manipulated me, pressured me, or used threats to
control me. Others made me feel like my identity didn’t matter or like I wasn’t
enough. I was vulnerable, and people took advantage of that.

Online, I got into situations I regret now. I didn’t have
good boundaries, and I was dealing with stress, loneliness, and confusion. Some
choices I made back then still make me feel ashamed, even though I didn’t fully
understand myself or what was healthy.

Then In 9ths garde I started smoking again and met
someone I cared about deeply 2 years ago — I’ll call him Apple. He became
really important to me, even though the relationship wasn’t healthy. He
influenced some of the coping habits I’m not proud of including sh on myself
after he talked about hurting himself if I left him or if he did not believe what
I said, and even knowing that, I still cared about him. I still love him.-2/17/2026

Eventually, everything in my life started piling up. My
parents found a burner phone, found drugs I had, and learned about Apple, and
things blew up at home. Due to that, I went into an outpatient program to try
to get better. While I was there, Apple and I decided to take a break so I
could focus on myself.

But during that break, I met another guy in the program.
I told Apple about him — I didn’t want to hide anything — and after that, Apple
slowly drifted away from me. I could see it happening, but I didn’t want to
admit it. I still regret how it all unfolded. I want to message him
everyday-2/17/2026
, I even remember opening a fortune cookie that said
something like “cherish the relationship you have,” and I didn’t listen. I wish
I had.

The new guy ended up pulling me into another cycle of
manipulation. He pressured me, threatened me, and tried to control me
emotionally. He talked about hurting himself, talked about exposing things
online, and used guilt to keep me close. It felt like reliving something I had
already survived once.

There’s also someone I see every day who reminds me of a
situation from my past that left me feeling guilty and disgusted with myself
for what I did with him and his dad walking in. Even though I didn’t have the
support or clarity I needed back then, the shame still hits me whenever I see
him. It affects me more than I want to admit.

I am 16 and in 10th grade. I’ve struggled with
drinking, drugs, body image, and other issues. It’s a lot to carry, and I know
I still have a long way to go. But I’m trying. I’m trying to grow, to stay
healthy, and to understand myself better. I’m sharing this because I want
someone to understand where I’m coming from and why I am the way I am.

...See more The rumors started in 6th grade. People began saying I identified as male and that I looked at people in the bathrooms. They also said I touched people while playing duck duck goose. None of this was true. At first, I didn’t even know the rumors were happening. I just noticed people growing distant from me. They were dry with me, acting different, and I didn’t understand why. I think that’s where my trust issues started. Everything after that was a blur and moved really fast. I was friends with a girl named Ada. She was connected to the friend group where all of this was happening. I remember asking Ada about it in the bathroom of a McDonald’s. Ada told me that everyone hated me and that rumors had been going around for months.  That’s when she told me who was motivating people to do all of this. Her name was Haley, but she identified as nonbinary and went by X. That was the first time I remember masking my emotions for real. Walking out of the bathroom and seeing Ada’s mom was hard because I had to act okay. I had messages from X on my phone, and when I confronted her, she sent threats toward me and my family. I didn’t tell my parents because I wasn’t supposed to be messaging people. This happened while I was in the guest bedroom at my grandparents’ house. When we got back to school, I talked to the counselor. At that point, I didn’t have a good therapist. The counselor brought in X, and X told a story about how her sister and her sister’s friends stole her phone. But during that same conversation, her story kept changing. At first it was hard for people to believe me because I only had screenshots. I remember kind of resolving the issue. I asked the counselor not to say anything because I thought the issue was resolved. At some point my parents found out, but I don’t remember how. I told them I was handling it, and they believed me. I was young back then, so I tried to make peace with X, but she kept getting more and more information about me to use later pretending we were cool. The actual reports didn’t start until 7th grade. In 7th grade, the reports on “See Something Say Something” started. That’s also when I started smoking. I started smoking on a cruise while hanging out with people. I found a guy at school to get me nicotine and weed, but it only ended up embarrassing me later in the year when everything unfolded. When I thought the rumors had stopped, they started again. This time it lasted until the middle of 7th grade. These rumors were only in the friend group, and they kept reporting me online. That’s when the office started calling me in again. I asked them not to say anything to my parents because I said I was working on solving the issue.( which I was and had a general idea  because of what happened in the past, but there was nothing I could really do looking back on it )They agreed and said they would have to contact me every time there was a report. They reported me for using drugs, for hurting myself, and for supporting Hitler. (There was a kid in my religious school who said things like that, and I’m Jewish.) One day, five minutes before the bell for break, they got a report. They said it was too late to bring me in, and because it involved self‑harm, they had to send the police to my house. My mom, dad, and I were heading to Barnes & Noble when we saw two police cars outside our house. As we were walking out, one of the officers turned on the sirens and walked toward us. They asked if I was Ace. Then they said we needed to go inside. They read the report to my parents, and we all knew it wasn’t true, I explained my side of the story in tears. That’s when my parents found out for the second time. I said I was handling it, but they didn’t believe me because clearly I hadn’t handled it the first time. During this time, my parents made forms so that if any of the students involved talked about me, talked to me, or came near me, they would be sent to secondary school. All of their parents had to sign a form saying they knew what was going on. Before that, kids got called in to try to get the story straight, but we never could. I could never figure out who was part of this besides X. I started smoking in 7th grade. It first happened while I was on a cruise, and the stuff I had came from a kid at school. I had a school computer at the time, and I found a firewall hole that let me get on ***. That’s where I talked to the kid about what I was going to get, since I couldn’t get anything on my phone. Before I met him, I had asked around a lot and got fooled into thinking I was actually getting something. Ada ended up snitching on me. My parents confronted me and bluffed that they already knew I was smoking and knew exactly where I was keeping everything. They said I’d get in less trouble if I was honest and showed them where it was. They couldn’t find it on their own, so I freaked out and showed them. Stupid me, lol. They brought it up to the office, but I didn’t snitch on the kid who got it for me. He told people I did anyway. Somehow, in another meeting about my punishment, I ended up snitching for real. After that, he and I said we were going to “fade,” even though I didn’t really know how to fight or what I was getting myself into. Around this time, my parents found out I was online for the first time. I got in a lot of trouble and lost my phone. I still don’t have it because of other stuff I did later. During all of this, I was dating a girl named Janet.    more to come

...See more -Check my Bio for my story- I was working on a tattoo design, and my dad liked the drawing at first — until I told him it was for a tattoo. His whole attitude changed. Later, when we were at the store, he was talking to me and then said “one sec,” so I said “okay.” I started talking to myself a little, and I guess he didn’t realize it was to myself, because he suddenly snapped at me. He said something like, “Fine, I’ll stop what I’m doing so we can go home and make your turkey sandwich,” in this annoyed tone. On the drive home, he got a call and hung up on them right away, so I could tell he was still mad. In my neighborhood, there’s a little treehouse I sometimes go to when I need to calm down. I wanted to go there today, but I couldn’t. The dad who once caught me and another person fooling around was there, and I didn’t want to deal with that shame again. And now I’m realizing I might have a drinking problem. That one night when I drank, I originally wanted to hurt myself, but now it feels like I just want to drink instead. I don’t know what to do with that feeling.

Poem i wrote (The forest)

...See more The trees are whispering to each other. The birds are silent. The stream that once flowed is still like a picture. The animals hide, scared for what’s to come. What is to come? Nothing. Nothing comes. The forest lives in fear forever. Fog clings to the edge of the woods, letting me glimpse only inside. No one knows what lives within. I take a step. It is chilly. I take a step. The fog parts with me, leading deeper into the inner layers of the unknown. In the middle of the forest, beside a large oak tree— the hare. The only beating thing around, hurt but still loving itself. I try to go to it. The forest throws its branches down, protecting the hare from the only threat it sees. The threat is me. But nothing was coming. I am nothing. The forest sees otherwise.

Poem i wrote (I love yo be hated)

...See more He made me feel like I was loved like no other person normally would. And he hated me. Do I love to feel hated? Maybe it gave me something to feel. What is my definition of love? Someone who does not ignore me. Someone who doesn’t treat me *** so that I break up with him, so he doesn’t have to. Someone who does not destroy what has already been demolished and built back up with hard work and dedication, even if it’s still flimsy. Is my definition of love unreasonable? To me, it feels unreasonable. To me, my definition of love feels hopeless, lonely, devastating. Why did I love him though I love so easily, but love is also what breaks me. What is your definition of normal? It has a different meaning to everyone. My definition of normal is someone I want to be, in another world. When I don’t fulfill my own requirements of normal, I see myself as an outcast, as weird. Is my definition of normal unreasonable? To me, it is. Why? Because it’s something I will never be. I tell myself over and over that I don’t meet my own requirements of who I should be, instead of who I truly am. It gets engraved in my memory. I can start saying that: I am beautiful. I am strong. I am nice. I am valid. I am kind. Or even: I am ok. But I don’t believe myself. I’m lying to myself. I’m a liar. If someone else says it to me, I don’t believe them either. They think I’m not listening. But I am. I am watching the people who give off joy and copying them. I am becoming them so no one sees my pain. I am screaming on the inside because I am losing what little I have left of myself. Now that I don’t have him, I don’t feel a thing. I loved him. He hated me. This is what hate does to a person. I’m broken. I’m not made to be fixed from this constant feeling of loneliness. “Don’t say fixed,” they say. “Don’t say broken. You’re not broken,” they say. What am I, then? “You’re human,” they say. But I don’t listen. Even though there is no one left for me to hate in myself. I still feel the hate. But— I love to feel hated.

Poem i wrote (I cant be with you)

...See more I can’t be with you. Mentally, I can’t handle it. Why? Does there have to be a why? Yes — or else it’s not logical. Tell me why. Tell me why. Tell me why — over and over again. They say, You can’t tell me why — then it’s not true. Echoes running through my head, like a wire transmitting electricity. Disconnected, but the plug’s still in the wall. It’s broken. Cords cut. So I put tape over it — over and over again. It’s unsafe. A fire could start at any time. But only sparks — sparks melting the tape away. Any time I think of you, another spark. an expired fire extinguisher somehow working — The future will mend us like a nail growing with a tree. The tree works around the nail until the nail is stuck for good. I’m the nail. I’m the one stuck with the fire. The pry bar managing to get me out, over and over again.

Poem i wrote (lost cause)

...See more Lost Cause Certain to fail— what one whispers to oneself. No reason to think otherwise. You might see the chance they have, grasping the arm of a person who wants to fall and is falling. But it takes two to rise. One is pulling, holding for what feels like eternity. Hands trembling, fingers numb, turning the into thee. Love-struck, broken-hearted, and thereafter— sobs from before, because you can’t bear anymore. Tom Stoppard’s words: “We cross our bridges as we come to them and burn them behind us. With nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke and the presumption that once our eyes watered.” Am I on the same bridge as before? I can’t tell. Counting became meaningless. I walked through enough. The flames will never stop the smoke is suffocating
