...See more How do I help someone who pushed me away after coming home from being deployed, I tell myself it's from the trauma. Do I just give space? I love them. He was my boyfriend he stopped responding to me when he got home in September only read my messages and then eventually sent a hateful message randomly and blocked me on everything

...See more After my last psychiatric ward stay this week for three days I'm thinking I have BPD I will be messaging my case manager to tell her I'd like evaluated for it, wish me luck with getting support for it, I've asked for testing on things before and where I go for mental health care they have been like we can't test you or we don't here.

Feeling lost but not giving up

...See more My boyfriend is deployed, and this is my first relationship after 11 years. I’ve never been with someone serving before, so I’m still learning how to handle the distance and all the changes. He hasn’t really told me how to navigate this, and lately, he’s been more distant and less affectionate. It hurts, and sometimes I feel lost — but I’m not giving up on him. I still absolutely love him. I want things to get better, to feel close again, but I don’t know how to make that happen right now. If anyone else has been through something similar with deployment or long-distance love, I’d be grateful for any advice or support. Thank you.

...See more My boyfriend is deployed, and I haven’t heard from him in about a week. His birthday is tomorrow, and it’s been really emotional not being able to reach out or hear from him. I’m doing my best to stay hopeful, but it’s hard sometimes. Just here to send love into the universe and maybe receive a little back. Positive vibes or kind thoughts are really welcome today.

Left behind

...See more A poem I generated based on a recent journal entry Left Behind The years stack up like unopened letters, sealed with chances I never took. Twenty-eight, but it feels like less, like I never started, like I never grew. They’ve all moved forward, found love, found life, marked the milestones I’ve only dreamed. First kisses, late nights, hands held tight— stories I was supposed to write. But I stayed behind, feet stuck in the past, watching the world from a window I can’t open. No car, no job, no place of my own, no voice that feels loud enough to matter. Even my own body betrays me, a space I don’t know how to care for. Mess piles up, hunger lingers, sleep never brings the rest I need. And yet, time doesn’t wait, doesn’t pause, doesn’t care that I’ve fallen behind. It only whispers what I already know— everyone else is living. And I am not.
